A food industry veteran with extensive management and turnaround experience, Philip Connelly brings a renewed vision to Choice Food of America. Since his appointment in 2006, Mr. Connelly has optimized the company's resources to deliver a broad range of foodservice, retail, and private label solutions.

With his strategic focus and marketing savvy, Mr. Connelly has also positioned Vietti Foods, our sister company, as a preferred supplier to numerous regional and national retailers. He joined Vietti Foods in 2001.

Mr. Connelly brings over two decades of consumer goods experience with companies such as Whitehall/Robins, Sara Lee, and Borden. In the 1990s, he played a pivotal role in building Edwards Fine Foods into the third-largest frozen desserts company in the U.S.

A proven innovator with a keen understanding of the industry and consumer, Mr. Connelly is transforming Choice Food of America into a leader in custom food manufacturing.

Mark Johnson is a CPA and native of Middle Tennessee, graduating from Middle Tennessee State University in 1981 with a BA in Business Administration.

Ron Brown began his 26-year career in foodservice as a restaurant owner and operator. His first job in food manufacturing was as production manager for Shoney's commissary during the 1980s.

Mr. Brown's lengthy tenure in manufacturing has been based out of Choice Food's current facility on Spence Lane in Nashville, where he has served as logistics manager through several corporate acquisitions, from Mike Rose Foods in 1989 to J.W. Childs in 1998.

Just prior to our integration with Choice Food Group, Mr. Brown served as Logistics Manager for our facility under Portion Pac, a division of H.J. Heinz.

A graduate of Auburn Community College in New York, Mr. Brown oversees inventory management, production planning and control, purchasing, and customer service for Choice Food of America.

Ms. Folmar leads the Research & Development and Quality Control operations at Choice Food of America and Vietti Foods. She has over 16 years’ experience in her field, having worked in R&D for such well-known food companies as Pillsbury’s Martha White division, H.J. Heinz, and Dean Foods. Ms. Folmar has a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology from the University of Tennessee.

At Choice, Ms. Folmar provides expert guidance on new product development and specifications. This includes the oversight of nutritional panels and product labeling for government compliance, as well as the optimization of our formulas.
